Weight Loss: Common mistakes that can destroy your weight loss efforts!

Saturday January 8th Westend Victory Lady Fitness Seminar  from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, for 10k Training Participants Only!
We will welcome Liz from Commonwealth Sports Medicine to the club to discuss Weight Loss and common mistakes people make which ruin their efforts.  She will be discussing common mistakes which make your metabolism sluggish and impede your weight loss.  She will discuss the importance of BMR, basal metabolic rate and teach you why this number is important.  She will also cover eating for wellness and how to eat to be an athlete for our race!  She will be available for additional questions once the seminar is complete. 
 She will have handouts for you to take notes! 

Remember that healthy eating is a major part of the health and wellness puzzle, exercise alone will not cut it.  Unhealthy choices can open the door for many diseases to enter your body.  Prevention is the key to fighting disease and if exercise and nutrition can aid in disease prevention then it seems to me they would be on the top of everyone’s priority list.

Due to time constraints Liz is only available to us on the Westend of town.  I hope you all will be able to attend!  This will be a wonderful seminar and worth the small trek to the Westend if you are a southsider!
